மழை தவறாது பெய்வதால் உலக உயிர்கள் இயங்குகிறது. எனவே உலக உயிர்களுக்கு மழையே அமிழ்தம் போன்றது

Rain which sustains the world Segments Episodes
Should be deemed to be elixir of life.
Meaning:
Because, by the continuous of rain, the world is preserved in the existence, it is worthy to be called ambrosia.

துப்பார்க்குத் துப்பாய துப்பாக்கித் துப்பார்க்குத்
துப்பாய தூஉ மழை.
உரை:
உண்பவர்களுக்கு உணவுப் பொருள்களை விளைவித்தும், அருந்துவோருக்கு ஒர் உணவாகப் பயன்படுவதும் மழையேயாகும்.

Meaning:
Rain produces food, and is itself food.

Meaning:
If the cloud withholding rain device (or hopes), hunger will log give distress in the sea-surrounded spacious world.

It is rain which wrecks men; it is also rain
Which lifts them up?
Meaning:
Rain destroys; and on the other hand helping, restores what it has destroyed; rain does all this.
