மலர்மிசை ஏகினான் மாணடி சேர்ந்தார்
நிலமிசை நீடுவாழ் வார்.

Stanza 3
Long life on earth theirs who clasp
The glorious flower-embedded feet.

Meaning:
They who are unified to the magnificent feet of him, who passes rapidly over the flower of the mind, shall flourish long above all worlds.

Transliteration:
Malarmisai Ekinaan Maanati Serndhaar
Nilamisai Neetuvaazh Vaar.

குறள் 4

வேண்டுதல் வேண்டாமை இலானடி சேர்ந்தார்க்கு
யாண்டும் இடும்பை இல.

Stanza 4
Never harmed are those who clasp the feet
Of the one beyond likes and hates.

Meaning:
To those who meditate the feet of god who is negated of desire or hatred, evil shall never come.

Ventudhal Ventaamai Ilaanati Serndhaarkku
Yaantum Itumpai Ila

குறள் 5
இருள்சேர் இருவினையும் சேரா இறைவன்
பொருள்சேர் புகழ்புரிந்தார் மாட்டு.

Stanza 5
The delusion caused by good deeds and bad
Shall never be theirs who seek God’s praises.

Meaning:
The two-fold deeds that spring from darkness shall not follow to those who enchantment in the true praise of God

Transliteration:
Irulser Iruvinaiyum Seraa Iraivan
Porulser Pukazhpurindhaar Maattu.

குறள் 6

பொறிவாயில் ஐந்தவித்தான் பொய்தீர் ஒழுக்க
நெறிநின்றார் நீடுவாழ் வார்.

Stanza 6
Long life is theirs who dread the path
Of him who conquered the five senses.

Meaning:
Those shall long proposer who tolerate in the flawless way of Him who has demolished the five desires of the senses

Transliteration
Porivaayil Aindhaviththaan Poidheer Ozhukka
Nerinindraar Neetuvaazh Vaar.
